Ready, set, go.

Welcome everyone to the new Connecticut World Taijiquan and Qigong Day website and blog. For the past 26 years this site has been created, managed, and hosted by Laddie Sacharko, whose efforts in co-founding our Connecticut event, and acting as event director for many, many years, can’t be applauded enough. Since Laddie stepped down from public participation a few years ago, it was an opportunity to update the site and so here we are.

This site exists to grow and expand with its needs; a single portal showcasing the offerings, resources, and ideas of Connecticut’s Taijiquan and Qigong community, from both its teachers and students alike. The school directory is here to direct interested parties to school websites; the video and image galleries are here for any media meant to be shared; and this blog is for any thoughts and/or event/workshop promotions to be shared, year round. And of course, World Taijiquan and Qigong Day specific information – call for art entries, workshop/demo offerings, the final program and advertising signage will be all here on the File Share page.

If you have video or images you would like uploaded, or a blog to post, feel free to send them to jonas.artwarrior@gmail.com and I will upload them onto the site.

A special thanks to Carrie Wilson of CAW Creative Design LLC in Windham, CT for helping to make this design functional.

Thanks everyone, and enjoy your practice.

  1. Please let know in which town in CT will take part in the 27th annual world Tai Chi & Qigong Day.
    Thanks Mario Rio

  2. In spite of the weather, we had a great time and the workshops will certainly contribute to the improvement of our form and understanding of tai chi and qigong. A special thanks also for the hot tea and hot meal. That was very appreciated on this chilly and rainy day!
